Okay I know it’s not hit midnight yet but I wanted to post this befor it gets too hetic.
2017 has been an unforgettable year for me;
I went to college, I went on an 8 week Inspiring Futures program with coastline housing as an admin/Pa had an amazing line manager Julie,
then I was employed as a Lettings Administration assistant temp role at coastline housing.
I wonder if this year will be as exciting?!
I am soo ready for 2018 and whatever it has to bring.
I hope you all had the most wonderful time over Christmas and are excited to embark on a new year. had a lovely chilled Christmas with family.
Ive never a big fan of New Year’s Eve itself,
I hear the saying new year new me but I like to think I made a lot of progress personally in the last year so this isn’t a completely new me, just an improved and constantly progressing one I must admit in the past I have allowed my dislexia get in the way but since I went on the if (inspiring futures)
program I have learnt to challenge myself - if that makes any sense?
I like to say such a huge thank you to you guys for all your support,
This year I want to Keep a book log. I always used to do this A few years ago and it’s a good thing to look back on and remember what you read and how much you enjoyed it.
Take a photography class. I love taking photos and would love to be better at it.
Change up my content and challenge myself. I want to make more YouTube videos and writing this blog (very occasionally writing this blog!) for over a year now and although I am still proud of my content.
Eat when I’m hungry and not when I’m not. I am SO bad for this. I don’t want to start some crazy New Year’s diet that won’t last. I’m all about making healthy lifestyle changes and I think this is a really good one. Who else eats that last piece of pizza just because it’s there? Or orders pudding in a restaurant just because it sounds delicious not because you’re actually hungry still?
Think positively and keep an open mind. I’m a pretty positive person anyway, but I think sometimes I let things get me down if they don’t go exactly the way I want them to, so I want to be better at shrugging things off and not worrying.
I think life is just too short. It’s important to get some perspective sometimes.
Take deep breaths,
I would like to push myself a bit more and try some new things. I know theres the saying if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but this isn’t a case of anything being broken, this is more for me to feel more satisfied with my content and excited by it. I’m wanting to get a new planner so I can organise everything in it to appointments, holidays, birthday, and other things too I did start my old planner a few years ago but I got distracted with other things going on in my personal life.
I’m sure I could think of loads more resolutions
